Our Story

The Beginning of Knights Candy Shop

It all started with a tragic car accident. While recovering from a traumatic brain injury our founder, Gary Knight, taught himself the framework for the fillings and truffle designs you see today. Since then he has studied from master chocolatiers to perfect his work.

He spent years perfecting his craft before deciding to create his own business. He founded Knights Candy Shop with the mission of creating the most delicious and unique chocolates around. You will also find his lovely wife Sandy in the kitchen, making her almost famous fudge & dipped cookies!

Our Philosophy

At Knights Candy Shop, we believe that chocolate is more than just a sweet treat. It's a symbol of love, celebration, and happiness. That's why we put so much care and attention into every piece of chocolate to create an experience to savor first with your eyes and then your taste buds. Our family business also believes in giving back to the very same community that supports us, through donations and volunteerism!

Our Ingredients

We use only the finest ingredients in our chocolates, sourced from around the world. Our chocolate refined in Belgium is 100% traceable and sustainable from ethical farms. We carefully select every ingredient to create the perfect flavor and mouthfeel.

Do you have a physical store location?

No, however our chocolates can be found inside the new Anneke Schat's Bakery located at 3115 Eastlake Blvd, New Washoe City, NV, and you can usually find a small selection of our goodies inside the Valley Larder Cafe at 1281 Kimmerling Rd. #10 Gardnerville NV. We are a small batch business selling mostly at Farmers Markets and other pop-ups. Do you offer Shipping?

Yes, we offer shipping during the cooler months, weather permitting.

Can I customize my chocolate order for special occasions?

Absolutely! We welcome special orders! Please send us an email to discuss options.

Are your chocolates made with sustainable cocoa?

Do you have any sugar free options?

No we do not at this time.

What is the best way to store your chocolates?

All of our products are shelf stable, but can be effected by heat. We recommend that you store your chocolates in a refrigerator and take them out 15-20 minutes before enjoying them.

How long will your chocolates stay fresh?

If kept refrigerated, they should stay fresh for 2-3 weeks if you have that much will power! We recommend eating them right away for best results! Why wait?
